In some areas of the province, special consideration is required for projects on or near freshwater lakes. The Thompson-Nicola (TNRD), Cariboo (CRD), and Columbia-Shuswap (CSRD) Regional Districts require extra study and reporting prior to issuing development permits on properties near some lakes. These requirements are as per local government bylaws and/or Official Community Plans (OCP’s).

Cleartech has completed numerous reports for sites utilizing on-site sewage treatment and disposal in these areas, and are familiar with the site assessment, data analysis, modelling, and reporting requirements for these projects.
