Camp Summit is an outdoor education centre located in Squamish Valley, BC. Over the past several years the owner has been completing upgrades to facilities and infrastructure all across the property. In 2013, Cleartech Consulting Ltd. and KEV Construction completed an upgrade to one of the septic system servicing the cabin area of the camp. Now the owner has authorized an upgrade to the system servicing the Lodge.
The existing system is comprised of three small raw sewage lift stations, one large septic tank, a second smaller septic tank, and a gravity seepage bed disposal field. Our proposed system will result in the removal of the three raw sewage lift stations (a constant maintenance hassle), addition of a new large septic tank and new and adequately sized duplex pump effluent lift station, retrofitting the existing larger septic tank with an aeration system, and a potential upgrade to existing effluent filter.
Cleartech will be filing with the VCHA in the coming days, and we aim to have the project completed by the end of November 2016.
